Who is your favorite character [Excluding Cloud]

My favorite character excluding Cloud. Would Defiantly be Vincent. A cool ass cape, a gun, an amazing background on him, and some of the coolest transformation limit breaks.

I would have to agree with you there, mines a toss up between Vincent and Red. Vincent as you said is awesome but i kinda like red as well because he looks bad ass with his tattoos and red spiky fur, plus i like how the way he attacks, like a tumble turn

Red XIII, Vincent, or Cait Sith. Each are unique in their own way. I might lean toward Cait Sith being cooler just because of what he is. I liked his story, etc. My actual favorite character is Cloud, though.

Well, it's a tie between Sephiroth and Rufus Shinra for me. I really like both of thier roles in the story. Seph, because of his interesting past and my weird obsession with anything that has to do with him, and Rufus because he's just arrogant all the time. He has lightened up a little since the events of the game, but he's still pretty cool.

Mine wouLd be either Vincent or RedXIII.. both gives an interesting story and character, personaLity, etc.. but, because Square Enix emphasizes Vincent more, I'LL choose RedXIII to be different.. :-)

RedXIII is quite strong, as one of my prefer party member.. and I Love his (side) story or anything about him, his town, his personaLity.. etc. and how he tried to protect his town.. that's why he stiLL consider to go aLong with CLoud.. which is the good thing :-)

Excluding Cloud, for what reason? Personally I never liked him, mainly because of his personality so excluding him is just fine with me. Well anyway, I'm not so fond of the FF VII cast but if I would chose one of them it would be Vincent and somehow he's always been my favorite character from FF VII. He's calm and mysterious and because of that he's always been quite intriguing character. That's would be the main reason I like him, well that and his awesome appearance and I shouldn't forget that his background story is also interesting, shame that they didn't involved more details on that part.

Cid: For his multiple attack limit breaks and let's face it he's a **** head through out the story but gotta love it he gives the game a little flair.

Tifa: I love the slots as her limit break it gives a nice timing challenge during the midst of battle her character is a memorable one

rafiki/red13 for me;he's a wolf, his tail ends in flame, he's sensible, he's got really good limits, he's red, you get him pretty early that way you can focus on him that good enough? Second is yuffie;she's a ninja, she's funny, her background story is interesting cuz she met zack

I also love his love/ hate relationship with Shera, because it just feels real. Later in the game, he really develops into a leader figure, and has some hilarious moments of his own. Plus his limits are pretty badass.

Don Corneo was another one of my favorites. He was just some low level pimp, but the interactions with him were absolutely hilarious.

Good god this threads name should be changed to "Is Vincent or Sephy your favorite, if not who is but Cloud is not an option. Really? Seriously? I have seen a few people that have some what caught on to this.

If the main protagonist is elminated from the equation why is the antagonist not also. Then again that would also mean the removal of Jenova seeing it is never clearly stated that she is in fact not the real antagonist of the game.

defiantly cid. i played vii later in my "final fantasy career" and was relieved to find a blonde who wasn't a girlie man he's just an all around, spear carrying, badass.

Sephiroth is my favourite from FFVII anyway. He is just a total badass. Closely followed by Hojo. Don't know why Hojo, I just always thought he was pretty cool, and his boss fight is my favourite to fight in the game.

Sephiroth hands down. A badass all around. A force not to f**ked with. Everyone feared him. It seemed like when they heard his name it would drive you to kill yourself or run for your life. He had control and had the power to destroy a whole planet. You can't get more badass then that.

Just in case if it is only FF7 it would be Sephiroth. I mean come on he is totally hardcore and he wields the Masamune.

If any FF game character it would be Gilgamesh. He provides some commical relief in FF12, he wields some awesome weapons like the Masamune, Excalibur, and Zanteszuken(Chk Spelling) in FF8.

i love Tifa and Reno. Tifa can kick butt and i love her attitude. Reno is just so hawt and i love his sense of humor lawl
